COMMUNITY CLEANUP DAY
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2020
8 AM TO NOON

Litter will only attract more litter, but as a community, we have the power to change that.

Volunteers: Help us to help keep trash out of our waterways. Go to https://keeppascobeautiful.org/coastal-cleanup to register.

We will meet at Naomi Jones Park near the James Irwin Community Center and proceed from there to clean up the public rights of way in the neighborhood. Help us cut down our waste. If you have it, please bring your own: bucket or reusable bag; filled reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. Dress for the weather, wear your face covering, and wear sturdy shoes. Keep Pasco Beautiful will supply trash bags, disposable gloves and face bluffs while supplies last to volunteers and only if you are registered.

This is a great opportunity for high school students to earn community service hours.

In your neighborhood: The City is providing dumpsters for your use to dispose of household waste. Please bring your items to one of five places listed below. Dumpsters will be closed once full or by noon.

Dumpster Locations:

Corner of Wilson St & Roosevelt Ave
1st Street & Goodwin Ave
Tuskeegee Ave & Wilson Ave
Whitehouse & 10th at the City Yard
North 7th St Parking Lot – behind Del Carmen’s**

** North 7th Street parking lot is the only location accepting tires. All locations will accept the following materials:  Glass, Wood (8' or less), Drywall, Fence, Carpet, House Furniture, Mattresses, & Plywood.
