BUSINESS TAX INFORMATION:
Click on the link below to find a copy of the “Business Tax Application” that is required for the opening of a business within the city limits of the City of Dade City.  There is also a link for the fee schedule or you may call the City Clerk’s office if you have any questions on the appropriate fees.

You may complete and print this application, and mail or bring it to the City Clerk’s office in City Hall along with copies of the appropriate documents and your check.

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY
The City Clerk/Finance department has various responsibilities that are prescribed by the City Charter and various ordinances.  The City Clerk/Finance department provides direct services to citizens, businesses, and other governmental units as well as support services for other City departments.



MAJOR DEPARTMENTAL FUNCTIONS
The functions of the City Clerk/Finance department may be classified into three main areas:
  1. Clerk activities - records, elections, licenses, minutes, etc.
  2. Finance activities - accounting, disbursements, payroll, cash management, etc.
  3. Utility customer service:
    • Office activities - billing, receipts, posting, etc.
    • Field activities - meter reading, repairs, service, etc.
